I've been a broadly satisfied member for over a year. One or two issues for the expense - extent of gym equipment etc - but broadly all good and fine. But their Coronavirus rules just aren't good enough. I booked in for a swim this evening and the pool was just too full. There's only realistically four lanes for different swimmers/households, but they've put in place a capacity of 15 people. The result was that I booked in in advance but couldn't swim, and the signal seemed to be that they expected this to be the case most evenings. I appreciate the issues that they're facing, being allowed to open but only at reduced capacity. But ultimately, membership is 40 per month - one of the most expensive in Cardiff - and I can't use the basics of my membership. Unless significant changes are put in place, I'm likely to cancel my membership soon.

We went there a couple of months ago for the full body massage. Reception staff were friendly, but the treatment was not good at all. It was an hour treatment, both myself and my friend we finished a lot earlier than an hour. The room’s soundproof was really weak, the doors outside kept shouting for all the time, it’s not relaxing at all! I told the therapist 3 times I would like stronger massage, and she kept going over the body like rubbing the oil.
Suki did my massage, she told me to take my necklace off, the massage was lovely but unfortunately I have LOST my letter R GOLD necklace. Over all I didn’t want to take my necklace of as it was expensive and it meant a lot to me. It was a small R necklace it wouldn’t have made a problem if I had the back massage with it on. The spar are trying to find it, but I feel the communication isn’t good. I have lost my necklace in the building, I know it’s there, hoping that they will find it real soon, either that or it must have been picked up & kept. You can clearly see it’s GOLD. Well all I can say is THANKS LAGUNA SPAR for the best FIRST EVER spar treatment!! This is the first experience I get wow! It’s my birthday on Sunday, I booked this massage for it before as the package deal was more affordable.
