Went there yesterday afternoon, was clean all around for the most part, friendly staff.. there was around 2 people inside but the staff did tell us that before going in. Nice jacuzzi and working showers steam rooms and what not that you can expect in a usual sauna. Crowd seems to be older but I think that’s the general demographic at saunas. Good time nonetheless

I've been visiting this sauna over the years and it's current incarnation is by far the best. Clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Facilities are 2nd to none including establishments I've been in London or Manchester. Saturday is a favourite as its 24hours . I don't understand certain people posting bad reviews because it simply isn't the case. Go see for yourself. I'm adding a bit here after reading a damning report. I have to agree with the owner who responded here. I have never seen or heard of anyone claiming the things you said . If it was as dirty as claimed I'd have probably caught something. I have never .. I have always seen the staff constantly cleaning and laundry service and checked the water in the qacuzzi even when I've been sitting in it . There is no way I would use a facility if it was bad . This place is 5star .
The staff have been amazing on every visit they have given a fantastic welcome/ experience. The establishment is big enough to enjoy and yet small to care for customers well done guys.
I’ve been a regular for over two years. I’ve seen this place decaying. They recently managed to fix two of the showers but having warm showers is not enough. A place that is old and deteriorated needs a lot of work to keep a minimum standard. The fact that they haven’t replaced the light bulb in the steam sauna, or the wooden bar missing in the bench, or the toilet brush full of dirty paper for months and months, make me wonder about other aspects regarding safety, health and well being. -How often is the jacuzzi being cleaned when the water is dark and turbid? -Why are the walls in the steam sauna rugged? Are they moldy? -Why did you let your clientele have cold showers under a low-pressure running water for over a year? Mopping the floor is not enough. The staff is good. They make a big effort to keep this place running but one of the owners who works as a host is rude and unsympathetic. Being run by gay people doesn’t make this business special. They show a massive lack of respect towards their customers. This is why I am not going back.

My review is for 20 odd years ago when u had the lounge up staris, it was perfect......it did not need changing......ive been over the years but don't like it comperd to when I 1st went 20 yrs ago. Still it's a good place and nice n clean but u spoilt it,so sorry .
I used to go to this gay sauna in 2 thousand eleven and I really enjoyed myself down there and it was great value for money and the staff was very nice and friendly
This sauna is not fit for purpose like the review below this sauna was unclean and very unsavoury. There were illegal drugs being taken without any interference from the staff. The smell was like going to a sauna in the third world. There is a much nicer sauna in Newport which is cleaned to a very standard. Don't bother asking for a refund you will be laughed out. Furthermore I wonder what it was like before the refit can't imagine it any worse when I visited.
