Authentic food and super friendly service! This family run business is the gem of Cardiff Bay. Wide ranging menu with authentic dishes and super friendly service. This is a regular restaurant of ours and whether it’s dine in, or takeout, the quality of the food is always 2nd to none. You won’t find better service on Cardiff Bay and the food delivers great value for money. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Duchess, it’s the best curry in Cardiff!

Lovely fresh cooked food. Have eaten here many times and have never had any problems the food is always perfect Mike is a fantastic chef. And as for the floor staff they are great nothing is ever too much trouble. Fantastic family run restaurant Rosena and the girls always make time for conversation creating a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant has also taken great precautions to protect customers during the Covid19 pandemic making the whole experience very comfortable.

One of the best Indian meals we've ever had (veggie and non-veggie). We're both northerners (Scot & S. Yorkshire) who live in the south of England so we're used to the superficial hospitality of London etc but were refreshed to have lovely human conversations in here (tbf most of Wales is like this). Superb staff, charming atmosphere and top notch food. Even nice looking partitions between tables.

Really nice restaurant recommended to us. Surroundings nice food excellent and really great service. Offer a slightly different menu from the normal high street Indian. Really nice location.
