Audi Cardiff Gate completed under the bonnet work on my car last week. on Saturday i went to have a look at the work that had been carried out and to top up my screen wash. To my surprise i was unable to open the bonnet, tried several time but the handle just wouldn't release, so rather than pull the handle to hard i left it and called customer services to seek a solution. I ended up calling the customer service number three time over several hours on Saturday as the first two people i spoke to confirmed i would receive a call back .?? NO CALL BACK.??? Third person i spoke with confirmed i could call to the garage anytime after 8.00am on Monday \ TO TODAY\ as a walk in and NO appointment needed. So arrived at the garage this morning just after 8.00am started to explained my situation, whilst mid explanation i was met by a confrontational female who felt to need to say \LET ME STOP YOU THERE\. we don't normally have walk in appointment, whilst walking away with my keys. Sometime later i received the feedback that the two bonnet release cables were broken and that it was not there fault but the fault and a minor collision that happened over two years ago and therefore they take NO responsibility or even part responsibility \ SHOCKING\ any work that was needed would be down to me to pay for.?? I explained that i have topped up the water bottle every week over the last several months and not once been concerned over its working ability. Only to be met by the same response repeatedly. its not our fault its the result of the car being involved in an minor collision. SHOCKING, leaves a very sour taste in my mouth, having already paid them 800 for the initial work.??? Very disappointed.

Standard range of Audi cars. Standard range of sales men with bog standard text book patter. Customer service and knowledge of the specifics of cars was severely lacking in sales staff. The ones i dealt with were young and very inexperienced. Some things come with age and personality...Not reading from a text book. They are interested in making sales. Only. Ask about boot capacity and they stare into boot space trying to figure out what's bigger. Like a deer in headlights. I'm trying not to be negative but when sales staff promise to call you, forget to do so and when you turn up again and they pretend they never met you before, it's bare faced shame. Just because they are Audi, sales do have a chip on their shoulder. As a customer who went to another Audi branch because of the way they kept 'forgetting', I am disinclined to choose this as my first Audi dealership. Sales staff need manners and real knowledge on what they sell - not just APR rates. Also, a man wearing a tracksuit can be worth 10 times the flashy labels other people wear. As a premium car brand, all customers need premium treatment. Not just the ones who look like they have a few pounds, because you just don't know who really has. The lack of stars is for customer service but this isn't a forum for rating cars as that would be stupid as this is location centric rating. Learn to treat customers right. Positive reviews will be from customers who purchased a car. My evaluation is based on how they deal with people without the need for a sale and how helpful they are. Not based on getting a test drive or a sale. Premium brand, sub par service, poor technical knowledge and thats not up to the exacting standards of the German car makers.

Second time dealing with the Cardiff dealership and second time by Alex, he is absolutely amazing and very patient! Got me an excellent deal on my A3 and got all the extras I wanted too. Very easy to deal with and genuinely cares with no pushy sales! Nick also really helped me with this as well and was extremely helpful on the finance side. So a big thank you to both.
