Louise at Carbase has been fantastic. We went to Bristol branch first where no one was even interested in speaking with us. Came to Lympsham branch and Louise welcome us and couldn't be more helpful. Definitely will recommend to anyone looking to buy a new/used car. Bristol branch- I recommend a customer service train to arrange!!!
Had an online valuation for my vehicle that I intended to sell to Carbase. After filling in the lead form I had a call from a chap who conducted a telephone appraisal, he was very polite and extremely professional. However, he did advise me he would be off at the time off my in store appraisal. Carbase operate on a 5 star rating for Vehicle condition and prices change accordingly, dependent on the level of the condition - as I would expect. I would personally rate the car at about a 4*, however let's say it was 1* condition, absolutely battered by the Carbase standard, the least I was to expect would be 10,800. As per the image which you will note says GUARANTEE your price. However, the incompetent salesman Trevis came back and said I'll give you 10,000 on today's prices. He accepted the vehicle was in excellent condition, but said it is what it is. I explained to Trevis this was not what I expected and was a wasted journey, however he seemed to shrug it off as if it was normal. He advised me the website is wrong, and if I'm not happy go elsewhere. Yes this is true, however what's the point in making you waste your time in the first place? If this is how they treat potential customers trying to sell a vehicle I'd hate to thi k how I would be treated if I ever bought a vehicle from them... Now let's see if they stick to there word and the Manager; John gives me a call back!
They found us a vehicle that suited us perfectly; we went to look at one vehicle that we'd put a deposit on; it wasn't for us, so we test drove two more and ended up with one we wouldn't even have thought of. We were there pretty much all day and Louise who we dealt with was patient and helpful. Great service - thanks very much
