This place does good food. Be warned it has like 7 entrances only one of which you can use (when you find an accessibility ramp you’ve got the right place). Really good chowder with slight citrus notes. A very good lobster rolls and they give you a very generous side serving of sherry butter. Their fries are nothing to write home about but let’s face it you aren’t going there for the fries. You can’t order online, call their number and they’ll put you through to the bar who then takes your order and phone number and you’ll call them when you get to their parking lot.

Whenever we are in Mystic, at anytime of year, we love going to the Captain Daniel Packard Inn for lunch or dinner. The food is exceptional, the service is superb and this afternoon at lunch, it was 51 degrees and windy and we sat in front of a roaring fire, it was heavenly. It is an authentic Inn and it is wonderful and quaint. I highly recommend that next time you are in the Mystic area, you give it a try, I don't think that you will be disappointed. We have been there just over a hundred times and we have NEVER been dissatisfied!
Place was amazing. Came here for a special night with my wife. Staff was amazing. Chef was beyond amazing. My new favorite place to eat.
Small restaurant but very quaint. Needed reservation & you call them when you park so you can go inside. The bread with garlic before the meal was AMAZING. We got the Flintlock Burger & DPI Skewers. The burger could've used a little more flavor & the skewers were kind of small. But overall the service & atmosphere was great.
We always have a very pleasant experience. The food and staff are wonderful!
