I was delivering in there area and fancied some lunch and stopped at capplemans, the two ladies were so friendly I ordered a large fish with a small chips and spicy curry sauce, it was freshly prepared and was amazing I live 150 miles away from the restaurant and I don’t mind driving down just for there food % quality recommended

The best fish & chips we've had in our two weeks in Yorkshire. Lovely light, traditional batter, chips that taste like potatoes and mushy peas like mum made. The staff were really lovely too. Highly recommend!
Visited today and I was extremely impressed. The Fish and Chips were freshly cooked and delicious. Large portion and the mushy Peas reminded of what mum used to make. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Easily the best Chippy in Pickering by a country mile.

Absolutely gorgeous..as usual. First ones in today. Haddock chips and mushy peas ...cant fault them. Lovely staff too
