DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I received my first order today it was very disappointing: I received salmon that was TWO weeks out of date - 13th of June 2020 and today is the 27th of June- it is ILLEGAL to sell food that has gone past the USE BY DATE. Almost all my vegetables and fruits were bruised and torn. I did not receive a papaya I ordered. It's appalling. I have attached photos so you can see for yourself.

These guys have been the best bit of lockdown. Great fresh produce delivered straight to your door only 24 hours after ordering. No need to order items in bulk- you can have a single apple if that’s what you really want, but why would you when the quality is this good. Fingers are crossed they keep going now their normal restaurant customers are now coming back- I would definitely keep shopping here.

I have received my first order with CW last Friday. I didn't get damsons I ordered, I got semi-skimmed instead of whole milk and the egg boxes say medium size while their website advertises large. I have immediately emailed them in regards to all this and I'm very disappointed to say I haven't received any reply back. The only notification I got was that I have been refunded the items which weren't delivered. Not sure what kind of customer service that is. Also, they're not as \plastic free packaging\ as they say. I received cucumber and lettuce wrapped in the same plastic as if I bought it at supermarket. The only reason I put two and not one star is because the delivery driver was very friendly. Unfortunately, a bad first experience will definitely make me not want to order from this place again. UPDATE: Recieved a response from customer service a week after the delivery apologising for the eggs mix up and they have refunded both the milk & eggs.

I ordered from Capital Wholesalers on Thu 10.09.2020 expecting next day delivery. My 31.09 (including delivery charge) came out the same day. I emailed on Sunday to say the order hadn't arrived, received an email on Monday saying orders need to be in by 4pm for next day delivery (placed my order 4.48pm) so my oder would be sent out that day and delivered on Tues. On Wednesday, I emailed to say it hadn't arrived. I emailed twice on Thu to say either deliver today or cancel order as I would be away for the weekend. Returned home on Monday to Royal Mail card saying they had a parcel. Emailed Capital Wholesalers to ask if this was likely to be my food box. No reply so asked Royal Mail to redirect as I was expecting another parcel. Today, Fri 25th Sept my food order arrived. So now I have a box of putrid fruit, veg and cheese (nothing on box to say it was perishable), still no response to my Monday email, and still out 31.09 for an order that has taken 2 weeks to arrive, is inedible and is rotten (in it's literal sense). Please don't put all the blame on Royal Mail Parcelforce. My money was paid to you Capital Wholesalers and I expected you to resolve the issue long before all this food was wasted!
