Great atmosphere, and DELICIOUS food!!! I can't believe it's taken me so long to finally stop in here. The service was friendly and quick, although we were a bit late so maybe we just missed the crowd. My son really enjoyed the colossal gumball machine at the entrance. Since the kitchen was closing within 15min of our arrival, we ordered our entrees and desserts upfront. Soft, warm rolls are served before the meal arrives.. The calamari was bursting with flavor and colorfully decorated with sliced peppers, although I will probably request to omit the sauce next time and just dip in salt & pepper. Thursday's pot roast special was delectable with shreds of beef that melt in your mouth, layered on mashed potatoes and an abundance of vegetables. We shared a Buckeye shake and the banana bread pudding, which were to die for! Definitely will become regulars!

We have eaten all over the world, and believe me that’s not a note of conspicuous self glamour, it’s simply to demonstrate that of all the plates and places we have shared, this place really does feel like home and holds up to plenty of more “fancy” feasting or otherwise... So let’s be clear, this is a diner, it’s diner style food, classic savory American cooking; with a touch of gourmet. I’ve never had a single bad experience here, Columbus is growing and it is proud, and these sort of places are the few true local treasures we can share. So come here to enjoy friends or family or both, and some good old fashioned home cooked style diner food! The staff are also so friendly, focused and fast, we had Emily and she was a joy! This place has my vote and feels like somewhere anyone is welcome with a smile, might find one here if you don’t have one of your own.
I’ve been to the location on Olentangy, and it’s always been great, but we came to this one last night and was disappointed. The floors were filthy, and my chair had good crusted all over it, so I had to get a clean one from another table. The food wasn’t horrible, but I definitely expected not to see crumbs and dirt all over the place especially with the pandemic and the “extra cleaning” they claim to be doing
Chicken balsamic OMG! So good. And light. First time here. So clean and staff is friendly. Unique place and affordable. Everyone enjoyed their meals and when I'm in the area again I will be here. Great server. Victoria was so good. Never ran out of drinks. Pre-bused the table and was right there with anything we needed.
I generally really love Cameron Mitchell restaurants, and I'm so trying to love this one as well. The atmosphere is great, the upscale diner vibe is well done, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. However I struggle with the food. It's all solid / good, but aside from the meatloaf I'm struggling finding other things that are excellent. A pretzel appetizer can be delicious. And for their version the sauces were really good, especially the sweeter sauce. However the pretzel itself I found dry (I don't know if I've ever run into that before), and it was under salted. The mixed green salad was fine though I found it wasn't quite enough dressing on it. And perhaps not enough dark greens. The steak & black bean chili was very solid. The cheeseburger I found was slightly more well done than I would have liked, and definitely needed more seasoning. And the fries that accompany that I found to be on more the lukewarm side than hot. I'll definitely try again, maybe they just had an off night, or my expectations are off, or I picked the wrong dishes.
