Wonderful place to visit. Tides were high so you need to watch out for all the warning signs as you walk along the front path facing the sea directly. Plenty of places to eat around and parking was available as well. Good news is that you can pay via the app PayByPhone, specially if you are concerned too many people touching the ticket machine. A nearby retail park had all the places to buy stuff including my fav McDonalds. Morrisons fuel pump was a surprise and a lot cheaper then prices in London. Made the most of that and got my car tank full lol. Definitely recommended!

Lovely seafront and we count ourselves very fortunate to be so close to a beach. It is a shame some people dont treat it with respect and keep it clean! Beautiful views and great walks along the sea wall.

Canvey has had lots of regeneration and is well worth a revisit for a nice day out. There is lots to do for a lovely day out. There is lots of Parking with easy access to free toilets , there is a funfair and lots of Amusements. There is also lots of restaurants ,seafood places ,cafes and bars. Canvey Seafront is a lovely walk along the river with some great views, it is full of interesting history and nostalgia. There is a lovely cafe overlooking the beach area and paddling pools. There is also some great artwork painted all along the Seawall , which tells of Canvey’s interesting history and heritage. You will enjoy a nice walk along Canvey Seafront and enjoy your time here . I’m sure you will return as so many do.
Very nice if you go early enough to avoid the tide in as the beach strip isn’t actually that wide. But wonderful day out with little ones to collect shells and have a little paddle.
