I live at a private residence on Canvey Island and have always received deliveries direct from Calor Gas Ltd. Canvey. I had five bottles delivered a couple of months ago and no problems as usual. However one of the bottles would not connect to my fire due to some kind of fault on the bottle. I cannot be my fire as connected another bottle with no problem. I contacted Calor to ask for a replacement and to order two more bottles and a replacement for he unused one which is still full of gas. They informed me that they were unable to do this as the bottle had to be sent away for investigation before they could replace it. I find this strange as my dealings wee direct with Calor and as such I should have had a refund or replacement for faulty goods which were sold to me which is unfit for purpose. My complaint is with Calor and I should not have to wait for this. I find this the worse customer service I have ever received and I will take this further in the next couple of days. I had always found Calor to be a good company but seems like standards are slipping. Obviously my custom counts for nothing. Noel Sherlock, Canvey Island
