I have just spent three days in St Lawrence ward for a total hip replacement, and I can't praise the staff too highly. Everything they did was so kind and professional. Thank you so much everyone, you deserve every credit.

Reception is slow but you can use the automatic machines. Well signposted as it is a big hospital. Extremely friendly staff and excellent results for 4 cataract and cornea transplant operations. Always improving their expertise, knowledge and therefore their results. Restaurant, cafes and friend's shops available. Lots of car parking spaces including some designated for the disabled blue badge holders. Prices start at 2 even for a half hour stay. Also 2 for the whole day for the disabled.

Having recently been in for a colonoscopy I cannot praise the staff enough, they were brilliant, I even watched the procedure on the monitor. I have to admit I was worried but the staff put me at ease. So thanks again, and fortunately the result was fine .

Went to K&C for a biopsy. I was hesitant and unsure of what this entailed, but I was soon made to feel calm and at ease by the attitude of the wonderful staff, the nurses and the clinicians . The treatment was first class we are very lucky to have the wonderful NHS in this country and to experience the kindness and dedication of the staff. Thank you all

Parking at the hospital is primarily pay-on-foot. On approaching a car park with an entry barrier press the green button to take a ticket. Before returning to your vehicle, you will need to insert the ticket in to one of the Pay Stations which calculates how long you have stayed and how much you need to pay. Weekly permits are also available from the pay stations. They also have 1 Pay and Display car park.
