I have been a customer of Canterbury Hifi for many years (even when they had their shop in Burgate). We have since moved to France and was finding it difficult to source a Marantz NA6006 during the Covid. While I was on the internet an email popped into my email box advertising Black Friday at the shop so I phoned them from France on the off chance they had the stock which, fortunately, they did at a very competitive price. I made the purchase and it arrived within a week to my home in France. Very pleased with the excellent service; thank you. Now knowing that they post to Europe, I will not hesitate to make further purchases in the future.

Superb service Having recently updated at separate times over the last few weeks, headphones, CD player, leads and speakers I need to compliment Will, and all the team at Canterbury HiFi for their outstanding service, attention to detail, professional knowledge and general, all-round friendly, polite service. I’ve tended to think of HiFi specialists as being potentially elitist, and jargon heavy, due to the nature of the goods on offer, and the vast sums of money that can be involved, and as a result, was a tad weary of contacting a showroom over what was initially a small outlay for headphones - however, Will and the other staff at Canterbury HiFi, have totally altered these perceptions. From the first telephone call, the service has been nothing short of exceptional. Helpful, polite, friendly and knowledgable, all my questions have been answered in a practical down to earth way, without me ever being given the impression of being talked-down to. From looking at images of my speakers terminals over the phone, to FaceTime analysis of my amps connections, Will could not have done more to be of assistance. The phone service was detailed and unhurried, and Covid guidelines were immaculately followed when picking up the items via the click and collect service. Delivery in these difficult times, has been pencilled in for the next day and all payments have been professionally handled over the phone. If you like music but are nervous of being baffled by the vast array of equipment on offer, definitely give Canterbury HiFi’s website a visit, and then chat to the staff on the phone. Having looked for a television in several shops and being thoroughly confused, we went to Canterbury HiFi on the recommendation of a friend, how pleased we are that we did. The excellent, professional and very likeable team in the shop with their expert knowledge, made the purchase a pleasure. The competitive price we paid, equal too the large chain outlets, left us feeling delighted that we could support this local business. We added installation as we did not feel confident enough to tackle it ourselves. Phil’s speedy installation of the TV proved his first class knowledge, but better still, his patience in explaining how to operate the programme functions left us confident and well informed. Canterbury HiFi will be our one stop shop for any home entertainment product the we want in the future.
