Great place to visit. Great alternative to the Eden project. Play park for younger kids, lakes and a few man made waterfalls with stunning surrounding plants and rock work. Fantastic view at the top of the waterfall over the surrounding area. Only thing was the wait to reach the top was 30 minutes. Bring Walking Boots as the paths can get steep and muddy. Gift shop, bee hive with apples trees and a few sculptures dotted along the route like the T-rex, spider, beetle and so forth. Great day out. Reasonable prices.

Visited near the end of the season (Mar - Oct) and was fortunate enough to have nice weather. If you plan on seeing the falls, I recommend you wear good footwear and be ready to do a fair bit of climbing. Pathways are pretty much in keeping with the age of the falls, so you need to be fair footed to reach the summit (about 1hr round trip). Cafe is a little expensive so bring your own food if you can. A great day out

Very scenic walks around the Canonteign Estate, including the lower lakes but if you're planning to go to the top of the waterfall then best to bring suitable footwear and a bottle of water as it's a fairly steep climb with a lot of uneven ground. The lower lakes and woodland circuit are ideal for dog walking, and the longer circuit up to the top of the falls have some really stunning views so is well worth the hike.

An absolutely stunning piece of nature, lots of stuff to do and see, great for keeping a 3 year old occupied. Visited on a whim, and no a single one of us regrets it (until the aching sets in!). It is very steep and can be very slippery so take care!

This place is definitely worth a visit if you like a good walk through a bit of woodland and up escarpment to the summit to see a magnificent view of the countryside and a wonderful waterfall One route up and another down each with eye catching forestry and wildlife At the end of the walk there was sufficient amenities to cope with plenty of visitors and a lovely giftshop which held some good local ales
