At first they were so great and seemed so helpful, not imposing and very easy to book an appointment. However, after finding my boyfriend did not get any points on PIP, I phoned to ask if they would be willing to write a MR on his behalf, they stated they would but they never thought my partner would get PIP anyway as he didn’t look/seem bad enough. His conditions are all mental - he has chronic depression, anxiety and autism. He seems very normal but once you talk to him and see what he struggles with you realise his limitations. I thought CAB were confidential and non judgmental but after today, have had quite the opposite experience. Will not be using again unfortunately.
