The perfect parking solution for Cannery Row. We've been coming to the Spindrift for years, and always had to valet park. Not this year - covid made me take care of it myself by popping the car in to this huge lot. Much cheaper, and I could get it any time of day or night. Easy to pay (multiple options) and the manager is a good guy. Very open so it felt secure - in fact I could see the car from our room. Thoroughly recommended.

Right in between the aquarium and fisherman's wharf. We arrived a little after 6am and headed out a little after 6pm. We walked towards fisherman's wharf during the morning then towards the aquarium in the afternoon. Lot has a great relaxing views. I paid 30 bucks to park as long as I wanted as long as I didn't stay overnight which to me is a fair price for the strategic location and views. Parking attendant informed me that the city of Monterey no longer allows overnight parking/dry camping at their lot.
Beautiful sunrise. Missed the sunset due to overcast.
The parking lot is close to the activities on Cannery Row, and cost 20 for all day parking with in and out access.
