Great walks and nice view of the Edinburgh City from there. People come along with their kids and /our dogs for walks. In the winter you can get on your sledge for a wee ride!

Amazing place to go out for walk. Good for dogs, however, keep an eye as there are lots of squirrels and woods animals. But no sheep's. Really muddy thought and car park small.
Very nice place. Beautiful bit of countryside on the edge of Edinburgh. Great place for a walk.
Great resource for running children and dogs around. Remains of the old house and ornamental pond are interesting to see. New car park at North end of the site is well-positioned for a walk down to an old bridge over the River Almond. No toilets or cafe (yet?).
Beautiful grounds mostly very well kept. Canal water could do with a bit of dredging maybe. Very peaceful place great for picnics or even just sitting reading.
