Edited review 21st feb.. Went in today with a friend .. ordered fish curry, kappa Biriyani and Chilli chicken. All really good. Said no politely to the Biriyani they offered .. limited options but the items they have on offer is really good. Rating increased to 4star. Its always worth the visit if ur in the area and if other similar options are too far.. ******************* Decent food.. similar quality to Kokkadens. Tried.. fish curry.. beef fry.. its was ok. Chicken Biriyani not great.

We visit palm valley often from Waterloo and they did a huge catering order for us last Christmas ( for 60 people ). Those who ate the food still talk about it today about how tasty and fresh the food was . What the owners have accomplished in a very short time is remarkable. Being a former restaurant owner myself I know the hard work, dedication and sacrifice it takes to build up a name with such great quality, variety and consistency. To make the food taste so authentic is not easy and I will say no other Kerala food place comes close in Ontario or any other province I have lived. Keep up the great work palm valley team and let us continue to support this treasure in our community so that we can continue to enjoy a taste of home.

Authentic kerala food. Keep up the quality. Also it would be helpful if there is a menu board of items that you have on each day. Won’t get any idea unless we ask for each item, not really practical when its busy. Great taste, will go back again !!

I was definitely surprised when I had their “Pothichoru”, absolutely delicious and authentic. Their Chef Manu has put meticulous effort to make it the best thing you have had in a while. Especially during this pandemic where I cannot go home or have my comfort foods, it was a very pleasant throwback to my time in india and have something that hits very close to home. Thank you Palm Valley and Chef Manu. A 5 star ️ ️ ️ ️ ️ review just coz I can’t select anything higher than that.

The only Malayali store in Kitchener-waterloo-Cambridge region. You can get most of all the kerela groceries here. Also various Currys and other cooked foods are available but only via take out . Various kerela utensils and masala powders etc. are available.
