Mill Road Cemetery in Cambridge, since 2001 the it has been protected as a Grade II Listed site, and several of the tombs are also listed as of special architectural and historical interest. The cemetery was established in 1848 on a site formerly occupied by a cricket ground, as a collection of burial grounds for 13 city parishes whose churchyards had become full. A chapel built by George Gilbert Scott had been demolished in 1954.

Nice piece of green in the middle of the city.
Not one for cemeteries but i have been in and out of MRCemetery for 5 years...spend alot of time the last 1 and half years.....discoverd am black and I enjoy the cemetery landscape/space....love the architecture,flora....mmmh the fauna...love the stories the tomb stones shout at me...more to explore....if u have time ,with family, alone,with friends....and what to enjoy United Kingdom....let me convert you...\oh death where is your sting
Wonderful place
A peaceful retreat on the Mill Road. A great place just to have a wonder, listen at bird singing and leaves rustling in the wind. Very quiet in here. When you had enough of peace, you can climb a wall to Cambridge Blue, there is an \official entrance
