Very reasonable prices and generous portions! Taste was excellent but service was a little slow.

Without a recommendation, we turned to online reviews - favourable and as it turned out well deserved. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant had a buzz. Although it was a Monday evening, an orderly queue soon formed. Even so, we were given ample time to savour dishes. Some locals told us they've been patrons years and Charlie Chan is consistently good. Many Chinese groups and families were enjoying food and ambience - floral displays and prints. Everywhere was spotless. Will return, hopefully on a jazz night.

Personally the best Dim Sim / yum Cha that i've had in the UK, very fresh and great quality food. Service is very nice and you don't have to wait long for food. Highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic Chinese meal!

Tried the beef ho fun, some dim sum and the pak choi. All the dishes were delicious and the service was lovely too. Also very clean and well spaced out tables!

Got a delicious takeaway, the crispy chilli beef being a particular highlight. During my brief time in the restaurant however it did have vibes somewhere between a furniture shop and a hotel foyer
