I've been trying for 2 years to get the additional date added to a pre-existing headstone following my Mom's passing. Obviously this company exists in name-only at the moment.

The stone monument place in Callander has more than pissed me off. My sister in law bought a headstone from them when their mom passed away. They paid for her engraving as well as the final engraving for their father. Now with the passing of their father called the company to have his late date engraving done. The company has been sold since the original purchase. According to them paid in full does not include this date and that unless they have a document that specifically states that his date was included that it is too bad. They want another 300 dollars. They were told where to go. A company here in north bay will do it for the same cost so they are SOL. It is pretty bad when a company is sold the new owners do not have to honour previous contracts especially when it comes to something like this.
