This is definitely the best gym/rec center in Calgary. While their prices may seem high, they offer the best value. The staff are friendly and helpful. The equipment is well maintained and they offer excellent customer service. Their fitness classes are also very well run. Thanks for running so well even during a public health crisis.

Love it very clean friendly stuff temperature of the pool water is perfect a lot of stuff to do the gym is amazing they have a nice child care feature. Only one very weird thing that I would criticize, it seems that this facility is only marketed for white people... check the pictures
Daughter has swim lessons there. Sounds like the instructors are great and they were very accommodating for our first time there and we were a bit late. We appreciate your understanding as the facility is quite far from where we live. We chose it because of a recommendation from a friend. It is worth it!
It is a nice facility but the classes are still to close to others during a Pandemic. The staff is very nice but the manager would not refund my membership start up fee only to use as a credit for the future.I only came to one class and she did not offer a refund I would have rather had a refund only because I felt uncomfortable in a class that should be more room between others when working out.
Westside Rec is a great place for families and friends. All the facilities are very clean and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. You and have fun in the skating rink, try climbing at the climbing all ( they help kids with disabilities) and /or go for a swim in the pool, wave pool, waterslide, hot tub. Something for everyone to enjoy. Plus a workout area, a track, some gyms, hockey rinks, etc.
