Some of the most quirky performances come from here and this is what I love. If you are looking for unique live art, this is where to go. The original brick and modern mixed walls are extremely cool and give the theatre its electric vibe!

Super cool building, some of the original interior still remains and I love it. The bar also adds to this same atmosphere with unique detailed inconsistent bulbs. My girlfriend asked me if they were going to finish up the entrance and make it new, I said I hope not. It's a cool spot, I'm not sure what they do here when it's not a comedy show but I would be back for the right show.
Beautiful building, love the mezzanine... Saw "Ghost Opera" put on by the Old Trouts. Visually stunning and the music was haunting.
Thos is truly a part of Canadian history. When you enter this place, you'll be taken back in time.
Great little theatre. It's neat that there's a tiny bar you walk through to get to the seats.
I visited The Grand for the first time as a cameraman at the dancing performance. This is a really good theater with the floor level stage, original brick wall backdrop (The Grand located in one of the few remaining historical buildings of Downtown Calgary). Theater can accomodate a good few hundred people. Acoustics are good for theatrical and small music performances. While you waiting for the show you can grab a quick bite-n-drink at the Workshop restaurant located in the hall. Overall The Grand is a nice place to host higher level entertainment events in Calgary.
Great Atmosphere. "No Change in the Weather" was a very good production. Actor Olivia H. and the rest of the cast did a great job. Seats need to be more comfortable.
Went to see the 10 Minute Play Festival, part of One Yellow Rabbit's High Performance Rodeo; Great Adult entertainment! A good time was had by all.
