Simon is very knowledgeable, patient, and able to advise in detail on the optimal use of materials. He will provide insight on length of boards vs border pieces et, but is also familiar with each plank manufacturer's weakness, strength and often history. Knowledge of durability based on material choice also is in- depth. As all the stores compete just on price, it's nice to have an outfit that's figured out that service is what we really need. They also will quote on installs, and best of all, are Alberta owned.
The Deck Store has been amazing! My husband decided to take on the construction himself (we are frugal) and with the construction design and layout provided by Simon construction went ahead without error. Any questions were answered quickly and respectfully. Delivery of materials was on time. I am not kidding when I say that this is the place you should go for your decking needs.
