Founded in 2016, Ignitech is a non-profit designed by people who have worked and volunteered in the non-profit sector. They are committed to reducing the technological poverty that is often felt by many non-profit organizations. Our goal is to work with non-profit organizations and see what is working and what needs improvement - to get their IT services working efficiently. IT services are not easily accessible within many funding models and so often computers that are being used are out of date and failing. This causes loss of data which perpetuates the difficulty in achieving goals due to slow inefficient systems. Even worse is the potential of confidential data not being properly secured, thus leaving sensitive client and funder information accessible. Our objective is to end the cycle of non-profits having to "do more with less"​, which the founders realized is a reality for many organizations. We believe non-profits make a world of difference in our communities, and would be able to affect more change in our communities if the technology that they utilize would meet their needs.
