My experience with Head Shot days at Studio Lumen are outstanding! First of all, Jean Marc, Gillian and Keely are professionals extraordinaire and personable and caring . They make the collective experience of head shot day so enjoyable from touch ups to make up and hair , to being “on the set” , to reviewing right away top picks, and then a very short turn around receiving your new photos . They have an eye for detail, are very competent and artistic, all at the same time! Importantly is is a fun, light hearted and enjoyable experience! And I am always happy with my photos! Thank you!

The people of Studio Lumen are top notch professionals who care about their clients. We had a very challenging weather day on set and Jean-Marc went out of his way to make it comfortable for all of us. He made sure we were able to still achieve our goal for capturing these beautiful images. Highly recommend these friendly talented folks!
I got my business headshots updated with Studio Lumen and the experience was nothing but positive. Gillian made me feel so comfortable and had me laughing through much of the shoot. The pictures turned out amazing it was hard to pick my favorites. 10/10 recommend!!
Jean-Marc and Poppy really made our day come alive! Even before the actual wedding, Jean-Marc met with us and was so helpful. He answered all of our questions, gave us an approximate timeline, and has lost of extra services available. (I.e. printing, albums, etc) Day of, they were professional, knowledgeable, and really helped us relax, even though both of us can be a bit awkward when getting photos taken. They were so much fun to work with and I think that really shows in the quality of our photos. I would highly recommend them to anyone for any of their photography needs. We will definitely be using Studio Lumen in the future!
This was my first experience at Studio Lumen and it was amazing! I went in for some head shots, which is typically not the most comfortable experience in the world, but Jean-Marc made me feel extremely at ease. The entire process was pain-free, and even (dare I say) enjoyable. And perhaps most importantly, the photos turned out amazing! I'm so happy with them. Would definitely go back to them for my future photography needs. Wonderful folks.
Great professional crew! I normally hate having my picture taken...in only a few minutes Gillian got me to be natural and at ease. From the photo shoot to the process of picking your favorites all the way to delivery, they are absolute Pros! Thank you Studio Lumen!
Gillian and Jean Marc took beautiful food photos for my business. Both were very easy to work with, accommodating and respectful in our email and in person conversations. The shoot took an entire day as I wanted various angles of quite a few food products. They used tethered capture, so I was able to see and approve the photos as we moved along. Gillian did a wonderful job styling all the photos. I recommend Studio Lumen to anyone who wants quality photos taken by great people.
Type of event: wedding Place of event: Calgary, Alberta, Canada Date: January 18, 2020 I liked their “ninja moves” Professionalism of the the Studio Lumen team is so exceptional. Jean Marc (lead) and Poppy (2nd shooter) are great! There are so much positive things to say about them. We felt that we were well taken cared of during the the wedding. And not to mention, they were able to catch the our “real” emotions and the emotions of all the people in the event. You should not have second thoughts of getting their services. Promise, it will be worth it.
