It's what you might consider to be a "hole in the wall" place, but don't let that be a deterrent. I've been coming here for years now to get my lunch fix. What makes this place different, is the remarkable consistency of the food. For example, if I order the lunch special (generous portion for 8 at the time of this review) I get the same flavor, texture & presentation consistency as I did the first time all those years ago. In other words, the owners make it "perfect" each time. Day in, day out. Never had a bad experience here. Highly, highly, recommend this place.

Yummy ... if you are craving Indian food, this place has a great lunch special... and their Mango Lassie was perfect
Really great food and big portions. Their rice is always really fresh and they have my favourite naan in the City. Only bummer is the food is pretty spicy for my liking. Fans of quite spicy food will not be disappointed however
Excellent food but service needs to improve. Management needs to have all items on the menu. There is always something they don't have.
One of the hidden gems of Calgary! The food quality has been consistent over the year. Forget your other fancy Indian restaurants... This is the food you will remember. It's not very fancy or aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Very small space. Wouldn't have come here because of the set up but the taste keeps bringing me back.
I eat a lot of Indian food and was not impressed at all with Spice Hut. Butter chicken more tomato base than cream, the paneer was good but the creamed spinach was not creamy but lumpy and not green, and the aloo gobi was overly spicy with no flavour. Overall super disappointed since we had just tried Raja Grill which was absolutely delicious. Will never eat here again. I just wasted 50
Me and the wife LOVE Spice Hut. This place is a little hidden gem! The food is exceptional and plentiful. Portions are big, flavor is spot on and consistent. If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine this should be your first and only stop for dinner. Try the pakora. They're amazing!
I was not impressed by their food . Specially vegetarian food was very bland . Roti/ Naan was more like rubber. There are lots of options around the city to eat better Indian food
