Excellent service - Tina is refreshingly direct and will actually tell you what your skin needs, rather than just tell you that you need whichever treatment has the highest price tag like so many other spas do! The massage part of the deluxe facial was particularly great - I get a lot of facials done, and the massage part is normally just a 5-minute haphazard add-on, but this was a proper face massage that really relieved some of the sinus pressure and pain I was feeling. Would recommend!

From the moment you step through the cute yellow door, this great little gem will capture your heart. I have been enjoying their services for the past 23 years. Throughout this time, the staff has been the same, and they have an impressive number of clientele that’s the same as well. One might think that this is not by accident, and they would be right. Tina, the owner, holds herself and her personnel to the greatest standards. As a customer, you will enjoy the benefits every minute of your time there. This place has skilled and professional staff who offer the best services in town with great personal attention given at every visit. An added bonus is that they treat you with a warm, homey demeanor that makes you feel like you’re part of the family. The spa itself boasts a robust menu of different facials, skincare, waxing and nail care. Whether you are a seasoned spa user, or a first-timer, Skintelligence will change your perception of what great skin and nail service means. They will deliver every time. As soon as you’ll step out through the cute yellow door, you will want to go back. I moved away from Calgary and now, unfortunately, I can only book appointments every now and then when I visit. I am however spoiled, because I always compare skin care services to this one and I have yet to find one as good. Whether you are a Calgarian or just visiting, book an appointment today or buy one as a gift for someone else. It will be the best spent money you’ve done in a while.
I got the body-contouring service done on my arms and it was fantastic. Not painful at all. The service was great and an extremely clean studio. Highly recommended.
This is an amazing shop to get your overall beauty on. Anything from eyebrows/lashes to manicures and pedicures and facials; I have never been disappointed. It’s an intimate shop, very serene and relaxing and incredibly clean and sanitary. I honesty won’t be going anywhere else as the job done is incomparable to anywhere else I’ve been. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming and really make you feel at home. Parking seems to be an issue in the busy neighbourhood of Marda Loop, but there is ample parking at the back of the building. Would easily give 5 stars and recommend to everyone!
