This was a good size juicy, tender Schwarma with home made hot sauce. The owner Mohammad has been at this location for 10 years. He slipped a little triangle of baklava into my bag. It was the right amount of sweet, soft and moist. Yes moist, m-o-I-s-t. It melted in my mouth. First ones free. I’m jonesing already Well played sir
Love this place, the owner and their shawarma. The owner and his son are always the most welcoming. They remember my girlfriend and my order everytime. She likes extra spice, I like no spice!! When I pop in for lunch breaks without my girlfriend, the owner always asks how she is doing. We are treated like family and that is what keeps me coming back! Support this local small business and become a regular. You will not be disappointed.
Great service, fresh and delicious food. The chicken Shawarma was excellent, well seasoned and tender, toppings were fresh and crispy. The employee even included a Baklava (), so unexpected and kind!
This place is a hidden jewel in downtown!! If your soul is craving for a perfect juicy Shawarma this is the place to be. I am actually sitting in this place right and now and the food is super fresh and Super super yummy and the owner is this amazing calm and humble person who makes his Shawarmas to perfection, just the way you ask him to. If you happen to be in Downtown Calgary, don't miss Shawarma House. It's the best shawarma place in Calgary. They serve shawarma, donair - sandwich & plates, falafel, baklava, arabic coffee and mango juice. Best chicken Shawarma I have tasted in my life. Highly recommended place. I love to have my lunch here. Owner is a very friendly person.
Stop here if you are looking for a healthy, fresh, filling meal. My go to is either a wrap or platter, both loaded with veggies and meat. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Today I had the donair wrap, and it definitely hit the spot.
This place has the best shawarma ever! The service is outstanding and the food is to die for. The owner is doing a great job with this place. I will definitely be coming back regularly.
