Been waiting for more than 20 minutes to get a menu and the server has not even made eye contact after she first sat me 20 minutes ago. I have waved to her and called at her to get her attention after 10 minutes. And it’s the Same server. Just doesn’t want me here I guess...??
I had a really bad week mentally, so I decided to go have a cheap soup and a drink for dinner. When I started ordering the soup was something other than French onion (which I was craving) and I swore when I heard it wasnt what I needed - and felt instantly bad.. But the waitress said she'd get me a small soup of a beef and barley for me to try on the house. I appreciated the gesture so much more, though feeling guilty.. I've been here half dozen times before. But it just made my day that she went that little extra mile. Cheap food and drinks if you're on a budget, quiet place with normal TV and sports, a bit of an all rounder bar.
Fun place, nice environment and tasty food. A good place to start a good weekend
