The two elevators have not been in working order in half a year. For a period of over a month last year there were no elevators working. Global news did a story on it. Currently there is a limit of only four people, including a guard in the single working elevator, all but preventing move ins or move outs. I can understand this issue for a month, maybe two, but it has now been half a year with no end in sight and no updates from management. The impression I get is that Minto does not care about their tenants.

Dont move here. I've been here since February 2020 and now its June and going through the 5th bed bug treatment thanks to a perimeter unit. Not only do you have to put everything on the balcony but you also have to leave for 24 hours if you have children. Elevator gets stuck alot and the service elevator is still broken with pushed promised to fix dates. The management does not care about the tenants as long as they fill the units and they get paid they really dont care. This is the worst place to move, and if you consider looking here talk to the tenants first to get the right information on this building and it's up keep. DONT MOVE HERE unless you love bedbugs and leaving your house once a month to do treatments even if your unit is bug free.
Where to start, one elevator has been out of service for 9 months and will not be fixed for another 6. The elevator that is working (which has also broken down multiple times!) has a maximum capacity of 3 people, in an apartment building of at least 100 units. Some people are still staying at hotels after months (at property management's expense). The property manager, who to me is more akin to a slum lord than a property manager, will ensure any concerns you have are met with hostility or a sarcastic remark leaving you wondering how he got this job. The fact it will take them weeks to get around to solving simple problems (leaks, utilities, appliances) shows they are much more concerned about taking in more tenants in a barely functioning building than they are with keeping tenants who have been here for 20 years. As far as I can tell, minto cares nothing about their tenants and treat them as transactions. If you are looking to rent, I suggest you explore other options first. The only reason I am giving this apartment 2 stars is because the other tenants are amazing and make for great neighbours!
I pay to much rent for not enough security and the elevators either don't work or are broken down.
It's my home. I love Calgàry, it's a beautiful city to live!
