Went for 1 cocktail and ended trying 3 each... simply because they were so different and fun and of course - crazy delicious! Loved dark atmosphere and overall mood there too... Pricey but so worth it!

Well, initially was a great experience, awesome drink recommendations and informational, but after building up a 200 bill and 20% tip, was accused of stealing some art work from the building. Literally approached outside the building without hesitation, nor evidence, all while we stuck around. Who would stick around after stealing! Offered them to check our person's, but would not proceed. Unimpressed with how they handled this situation.
Proof is wonderful when it is open. Visited on a Tuesday at 6 p.m. and it was closed up like lockdown
From locally crafted cocktails to some of the best service I've received, Proof YYC has exceeded all my expectations. My partner and I were down for the weekend and we thought that we'd give them a shot and boy was it an amazing experience all around. This old time lounge with a modern design will have you feeling as if you're sitting somewhere in downtown NY on a dark night as rain falls. My highest recommendation would be "Forty-two" which is a rich cold brew filled with citrusy aromas, all well being held together by a smooth gin that left my taste buds wanting more. For the prices I would say they are well justified on all fronts of quality, craftsmanship, and taste. I attempted to go back again Saturday night but was told the wait would be over an hour and a half long, so if you're planning on coming down I'd suggest getting there very early as they don't take reservations. Another important thing to mention was just how well covid guidelines were followed. The team really made my partner and I feel safe and were always available to answer questions when called upon. To the FOH team, you all did amazing this past weekend and I was sure to tip accordingly. I will be back for another round when I'm visiting Calgary again. ️
Proof has such an intriguing cocktail menu - so much fun to explore. Drinks tasted amazing. Jamu and Kira were our favorites. Was delighted to find Hwayo soju on their menu - a rare treat in Canada!
Reece put on a mixology event for our company. He was sharp, funny, energetic, and so knowledgeable about the cocktail art / science. Will definitely be in-person when possible to try in-person. Highly recommend!
