This company is a complete and utter SCAM!!! If you value your time and money please don’t even contact them. Long story short after an initial meeting with them we were told that our daughter had a lot of potential. We went ahead booked her shoot with the photographer of their choice having to fully pay of course and we were told the photos will be available for her web profile within a couple of weeks. We also paid Numa for the web profiling! After nearly a year and countless emails asking what the heck is going on we were told they had just received her photos. Needless to say she looks totally different a year later and photos are unusable for her profile. Now of course they disappeared, no contact whatsoever when we were asking for a refund since they did jack for us! We are out hundreds of dollars because of this joke of a company!!! They are blaming the photographer of unprofessionalism and washing their hands with that. He was employed by them not us, it should have been their responsibility to make sure everything went as it should have. All in all just avoid them altogether!!!!

I know it has been many years since I dealt with these jokers but I still feel like it is worth my time to review. After signing me and my sister up with photos etc. guaranteeing our photos will be on their website etc. they discontinued communication with us. Took our money and ran. We called them, they answered and as soon as we mentioned our name they hung up. Maxwell Bracey was the moron we were dealing with. No idea if this scammer still works there, but never trust a company pathetic enough to hire him.
I normally don’t post a lot on Google Reviews, but I had to warn others. Numa is a SCAM. They will tell anyone and everyone that they are ‘perfect’ for modelling, take 1000 for a photo shoot and book, and you’ll never hear back from them again. Do not go here.
Numa has been a blessed welcome in my family's lives. Our daughter has aspired to be a model since she was a little girl. Numa has helped her to realize her potential and to have a positive outlook and work hard to achieve her goals. Jade Tang is the utmost professional. She loves her job and it shows. All of the employees that we had the opportunity to meet in downtown Vancouver were warm, friendly and welcoming. Numa is very different and definitely puts a unique spin on their company. They have a strict no bullying policy. As a mother, I can honestly say that my favorite aspect of Numa Models, is that they enforce a very healthy, positive mindset. To them, it is all about healthy lifestyle choices. They are.....simply put......AMAZING! If you are researching agencies, please do yourself a favor and reach out to Numa.....you will not be disappointed.
Every time I go into Numa I always have a positive experience! Everyone is extremely welcoming and accepting! Numa is definitely an amazing company, each time I meet with them/work with them my day always brightens up!
Their classes are very expensive and photo shoots. I know I have to pay my way but I feel their prices for classes are very high and have talked to a lot of signees that have never received work or even a call after spending thousands. They seem to sign everyone but only actively help a very very small portion.
This company is amazing everyone is so helpful and friendly and they really care about getting you the right talent, everyone i have met from Numa has been outstanding to work with super professional and its the only modelling agency in Calgary that i go to! If your looking for great models and customer service look no further numa has you covered they respond super quick and get back to you with lots of models to choose from. Thank you Numa for being awesome , and helping me as a student!
I have had nothing but a professional & a personable experience with Elyse, absolutely love her. I have also had a chance to talk with Tamica & Twyla whom are both friendly, understanding, & professional. Numa is more than just a modelling agency, they focus on the realm of health & wellness from a holistic stand point which is a huge part of my life as well as personal development.
