This is actually called Rotary Park. Mt Pleasant is about 20 blocks north of this location. Having said that, it is a beautiful spot to view the city and mountains. Amazing location to watch weather come in from the west, Chinook arches, snow storms, etc. There is a dog off leash area, a tennis courts (private), a playground and water park in the summer.

Nice quiet view of the city skyline and a bit of the mountains behind. Open grassy field for off leash dog park. Never had an issue with dogs or dog owners breaking any rules. Check it out at sunset for some nice light and colour
Easy to reach from Center Street. Nice place for an evening stroll and grand views of Calgary Downtown with Bow river in the foreground. A must visit.
