HONEST REVIEW ALERT - Where do we even begin? What started as a complementary session due to Covid turned into us hiring Lisa to assist with our wedding. Three months before the wedding we ended up having to change venues which in the end became a godsend. I, the Bride, had done much of the planning and hiring a vendors myself and at times questioned why we had hired Lisa. I felt as if I had done a lot of the legwork already. At moments correspondence was “short” though professional. When it came down to crunch time Lisa far surpassed our expectations. For example, the day before the wedding Lisa sensed via text I was getting a teensy bit stressed… She arrived at the venue, gave me a hug and told me “I got this”. And did she ever. The money we spent hiring Lisa was unequivocally the best money we spent. To be completely honest I don’t know how we would’ve done it without her. And while we never anticipated we would hire a wedding coordinator; I have a passion for floral arrangements and decor set up, Lisa proved to be invaluable asset. Lisa thought of details we would never have thought of. The day of the wedding we were able to completely focus on each other, our kids, and guests. We recently planned our wedding, during the covid pandemic, with Lisa at Mountain Bride. She was absolutely fantastic. I can say without a doubt, that our wedding would not have been the incredible day it was without her. She was fantastic to work with, and made planning the wedding (in 6 weeks) feel easy. She took care of every detail, from the big things to the small things, and her and her team were so great to work with. All of our families and guests commented on how great and organized she was. She was professional, fun, and a joy to be around! She kept the day on track, and she did with ease She took the wedding of our dreams and made it happen in real life. The set up and the room looked exactly how we envisioned it would be. We wanted simple decor, and had a bit of a different idea for flowers and colours, and she brought them together to look absolutely stunning. Every guest commented on the how beautiful the flowers , the colours, and the room looked. We were unsure if we wanted to hire a wedding planner, but it was hands down the best decision we made. As a vendor that has worked with Mountain Bride for over 5 years, we can't say enough about how well Lisa and her team take care of her clients and us. Everything is clear and concise and we know exactly what to expect and what to do come the client's big day. There are usually hundreds of details just for the band and Lisa has it all covered. We always look forward to the events that we do with Mountain Bride and can't wait to do it again!
We couldn't have imagined our day without Lisa! We had never been to Alberta before, and knew we wanted a helpful and talented set of hands to take care of all of the details for our special day. Lisa and her team worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and treated our intimate wedding as importantly as one 10 times it's size. By the time we got to meet her on the big day, it felt as if we'd known her forever.
