Wonderful experience, I cannot recommend Lorraine enough. I usually dislike pictures of myself as I am never happy with them. Lorraine put me at ease with her open, friendly personality and helped see otherwise. I am SO happy with the results, I look great! She was so accommodating and helpful and a great resource for better understanding the process and what to expect. Just a really really positive experience overall and I look forward to booking her again in the future for a family session.

Recently I had a fantastic grad photo session with Lorraine at Mortensen Photography. The whole event was so well organized - getting a professional up-do, makeup and then off for an evening outdoor photo shoot. Lorraine is very creative and has a high attention to detail, and this really shows in her photos. The whole experience was a lot of fun and I now have some beautiful photos to remember my grad. RE: Grad 2020 photos. Understandably graduation ceremonies needed to be celebrated mostly on-line this year, and the usual prom dinner and dance event could not happen. As parents we searched for an event that would still be safe for the girls, memorable and special. Lorraine was able to create such an event for us. She arranged a day of pampering with the girls getting their hair and make-up professionally done with a wonderful hairstylist and make-up artist. My daughters had a great time! Next, was the evening photo-shoot with Lorraine at Bakers Park. The girls looked and felt like fashion models! Lorraine was friendly, creative and made the girls feel very comfortable. The photos Lorraine provided are AMAZING!! They are images we will treasure always. Thank you so much Lorraine.
Had a amazing experience working with Mortensen Photography. Lorraine was great at choosing the best poses for each picture, and gave us a huge variety of beautiful images to choose from. Also really enjoyed the hair and makeup experience before the photoshoot. It overall was a great experience. Since most grads were cancelled this year due to Covid, we were so glad to be able to still get some fantastic photos in our dresses. Would definitely use Mortensen Photography in the future for other special events or general photography.
To celebrate my high school graduation, my friends and I did a photoshoot with Mortensen Photography and got to work with lovely Lorraine. What a fantastic experience it was. We got our hair done at Curious Hair Salon and our makeup done by Rachel Jones, who works closely with Mortensen Photography. I was very happy with how beautifully my hair and makeup turned out. The photoshoot itself was not only fun, but working with Lorraine (photographer/ owner) and her daughter was a great experience. They are both very professional and creative. The photos turned out beyond my expectations and I had problems with only choosing a few :) Without any doubt I will work with Mortensen Photography again in the future and I would strongly recommend them to anyone.
