On our third countertop purchase in the last year, we landed on Monarch to supply us with a laminate top for our basement rental suite kitchen. Of course, being busy before xmas, we didnt have time to drive to the SE to see them, but Monarch was great at workign with us over the phone (no other company would do this) to both quote us and build the counter. We picked the counter up, mitre looks great, and were super happy with the service and quality of work. A couple of weeks later we actually got around to installing the counter, and OOPS, it was cut to the wrong dimensions (1 inch short). So I called Monarch; and after dealing with other counter companies in town I was prepared and ready for battle!, we discovered that is was an error in the shop, and they immediately apologised and offered to fix it (new counter), I was pleasantly surprised that no battle was required. The even bigger surprise was when i got an email from Yvonne a few hours later that SAME DAY, to let me know that our replacement counter was ready for pick up. Awesome!! Most companies can give you good service when purchasing/quoting etc... but REAL service is shown when something goes wrong. Yvonne & Monarch certainly exceeded expectations with their great service.
