EMF ROD ENDS & STEERING

We have 2 business systems and 1 home system with Infinity. The sales rep was great, the installer came the next day and set everything up right away and then customer service was non-existent from that point on. I have tried several times to get a hold of Infinity for technical issues or invoicing questions over the last year and no one emailed me or called me back ever. The alarm systems were monitored by Brinks (who were really great) however, as of March 30 2020, Brinks is no longer monitoring for Infinity due to their unpaid bills. I left yet another message with an answering service rep for them to let me know if anyone is monitoring the systems at all anymore. Who knows if they will call me back...

They used to be a great company. However, the last few years, they have really gone downhill. The alarms are not being monitored, I cannot get a hold of them about my account. I finally went with Telus just for some piece of mind. Don’t go with them. You will regret it.

They force people to give them a good review so that they can give you a discount (that all other alarm system companies give you without a force good review). The person who came to the door was very personable however I strongly suggest that if you are looking for an alarm system you ask for their information and compare with other companies. I have a young son and they were at my house until 11pm trying to install the system. It came down to needing to drill holes in my wall to get power to the system. I had a alarm system already in my house and they cut all the line to the panel and then were unable to hook up there panel up to it because the young man who cut the line could figure out which lines belonged to the already doors and motion sensors. They said they would come back the next day to complete the sale. The next day I actually had time to read through my contract and there were several concerns I had. The length of time of the contract was 60 months, most other alarm companies are at the most 36 months. They also have a clause that allows them to change your rates at anytime after 1 year of the contract. The equipment is only guaranteed for 1 year, again most other alarm companies guarantee their equipment for the life of the contract. After considering these things and calling a few other companies I asked to cancel the contract and have them pick up the panel. Canceling was easy which I was thankful for but the technician who came to take the panel was unable to re hook up my system. It costs me 184.52 to reconnect my last system and get it back to working.

DO NOT SIGN WITH THIS COMPANY. The beginning of it was good, salesman was nice, installer was nice and came the same day. We were told we would be able to cancel our system if we needed to - which we now need to and are now being denied that promise. Lying to customers to make money. Making false promises to make money. They continue to take money out of my account for a service I'm not using and have requested to cancel multiple times. They don't seem to want to make anything work with our situation and are more focused on their profit than customer service. IF YOU NEED A SECURITY SYSTEM - LOOK ELSEWHERE! If I could give this company -5 stars I would. Brutal, thanks for nothing.

Just had my system installed today. So far, so good. Salesman was friendly and knowledgeable. Installers were fast and worked with me to find the best placement for the control panel in regards to cellular reception in the house.
