This Chinook Mall location is quite expansive. There are multiple floors with a variety of departments so they pretty much have everything that you are looking for; clothing, bedding, dishes, appliances and even outdoor furniture. The Pottery Barn sent me to them because they did not have I needed. This is Canada's oldest business so it doesn't get any more Canadian than the Bay! If you are looking for a specific item here it can be quite daunting if you don't specifically know where to go. It would be great if they had an electronic directory map at the entrances to guide you to the correct location of the type of item you are looking for or even have an employee near the entrance to perform the same function. The store itself is quite clean and the items it sells are good quality. John William Wade and Associates appreciates this great Canadian stalwart company!

Went to chinook to get a birthday gift and decided on perfume. I first went to a place that I won't mention that sells make up and perfume. Had a terrible experience so I then decided to head to The Bay Saw Julian and asked for some help. Before he even asked what I'm looking for he asked how my day was going. (Great start) I then mentioned it was a gift and I was looking for a specific perfume and we found out that it was discontinued. No problem, then I asked for hi ls recommendation and what I was looking for and right away his fist option was a success so I went for it. He knew it was a gift and he wrapped it beautifully and then also gave a sample of the one I got and also a couple samples for me. Thank you so much Julian

Great service. Website wouldn't let me reserve the product to pick up in store. I called and the salesperson (Helen in housewares) held the item for me at her register and escorted me to my car with the item post-purchase as the item was bulky and heavy.

The most upscale Hudson’s Bay I have ever visited. The store is well lit and clean. Designer brands galore. At times I forgot I was in a Hudson’s Bay. That being said it does mean that regular prices are very pricey. There seems to be a sale on many items on a continuous basis so if you’re patient you can find some great sale items. Definitely seems they are trying a Simon’s look and feel. Anyways it’s a well put together store and a pleasant experience shopping here.

My mother asked me to post this on her behalf. She ordered products online over Christmas from the Bay and did not receive everything ordered, even though the packing slip indicated that all items had been shipped. This morning she was advised by The Bay that after review, they could not approve her request for a refund. The products that did not come were less that 20, but they assured her she is a "valued customer". We cannot believe that due to their own quality assurance issues, all products paid for will not be received or credited. Unbelievable! Please be aware that you can order online, pay for products but never receive them from The Bay. She will be canceling her credit card and will not shop with The Bay any longer. We try to shop Canadian and local but this result is completely unacceptable and makes The Bay untrustworthy to shop with as a consumer.

Worst experience ever !!! They steal your money from gift your card . I'd never spend a dime there ever and I'd never recommend buying a gift card from this place either u won't be able to use it. They take your money and good luck with proving u never used your card when its in active. Be very wary and careful if u don't use it up right away. They take it right from u. There head office is a joke. Along with there customer service. If I could give this a zero I so would!!!! U lost my buiness and everyone I know .I hope this saves another customer to think twice from purchasing a gift card from your company. Still waiting a phone call back from your management. I highly doubt I'll be getting a call. You know what u did and it's morally wrong. Customer is always right and I proved it to u the last time with this issue. To bad the management before lied to me and told me they re issued my card back to working status!!!!. Not a happy customer

Actually came to the bay from Nordstrom cuz nobody acknowledged me there either LOL. I was hoping for a different encounter at the bay but unfortunately it was the same deal. Don’t know what it is about me or maybe because I look super young(?), but no one approached or even acknowledged me and I noticed about 3 floor staff working. I even made eye contact with one of the associates, I understood if he was busy but a simple “I’ll grab someone for you” or “I’ll be right there” would have been nice. I stood by the Daniel Wellington counter for about 3-5 minutes before I decided to leave. Gonna go online instead ️
