Brian and his team did an excellent job at replacing my furnace and hot water system. I couldn't believe how much more comfortable the systems they recommended made my living space. I can actually work in the basement without a sweater on now. I highly recommend this honest and professional crew and will be using them in the future for all my upcoming work and service.

Brian was great!!! Problem solver, patient, hardworking and friendly! Did a great job of finding and fixing the problem with my bath tub leak. Everything is as good as new! Brian will definitely be my go to Plumber!

Hired Highmark plumbing via a restoration company to assess the property for suitability of placement of a backwater valve. I was advised that the first step was to scope the sewer line for location of the main sewer line for placement of a back up valve. Cost of this scoping service was 550 dollars (I have since noted that this case is often more in the 250-300 dollar mark when I have called around,), the region of the main line was marked and the job was to have been performed (placement of the valve is 2500 dollars). I okayed the job and when the same technician same to perform the installation of the valve (3 days later) he instantly said that the back up valve could not be placed as the pipe was only 4 inches under the concrete in the basement and not 6 inches that he needed and therefore the valve would stick out and be a trip hazard and the job was abandoned. The technician told me that he should have checked that as a possibility before scoping. My concerns are that they happily charged about twice of a normal scoping cost before seeing if the pipe was deep enough (this was a 2 second assessment). I feel that they are taking advantage of people who put their trust in the "professionals". Now I am 550 dollars out and they claimed to have found more issues that will cost about 2700 dollars or more to fix. I am happily seeking a second opinion as I have lost my trust in this business. I will be following up with the BBB to look into these practices.
