This location used to be really good., I'm not sure what happened. The chow mein we ordered had zero flavor. The Salt and pepper squid was all batter, super oily and no flavour. The pork dumplings were small, over fried, and flavorless too. Paid about 80 for food that was really substandard. Chinese food usually tastes pretty good when its chilled, but I'll be throwing this away. the only thing that tasted the same was the 4 soft drinks we got after someone from ginger beef phoned us up and offered them for free. Never will I order food from ginger beef again. Its too bad, cause like I said, this place used to be really good.

2019 - Went back for Sweet and Sour pork and I continue to be impressed! Veggies are FRESH and a good amount of meat, the sauce is punchy and delicious. Had some Curry Beef as well and it's good - heat is a bit above mild if you're comfortable with sriracha. Good neat and excellent vegetables - see new pictures! 2017 - Excellent ginger beef! It doesn't look impressive but that's because it's almost all beef, with enough breading to keep things interesting. Sauce wasn't spicy, but it had some great flavour! Good background flavours on top of the usual ginger beef sauce taste, decent amount but there's so much actual beef that it seems like there isn't enough. I would rate this about two steps better than a certain other ginger beef place on 17th Ave. Enough to have 2-4 meals... though it's so tasty I almost went wanted to just eat it all and be overstuffed. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Ginger beef is not good. Chicken cow Mien is pretty bad too

I often order the same items from here once every 2 months or so through Skipped. Sometimes the Ginger beef and snp squid is over battered and sometimes its light(er) and crisp. First time ordering the wings today and they were huge lol. They were over salted, but I still ate them. 3 stars only because the food quality is inconsistent. Still high on my list for last minute dinner take out.
