I cringe to have to ever deal with this company again! Unless you are builder who deals with this company regularly, I suggest staying far away unless you want to be treated extremely poor! It's hard to even get someone to talk to you when you walk through the door...they must train their staff to act all snotty and better than everyone else!? Four years ago, I spent a fortune on tile at Empire during a renovation and was treated horribly throughout the order process and then through installation. They never did follow up on my issues and I still have poorly installed tile. Unfortunately, more recently, I needed their help to order a replacement part for a high-end kitchen faucet they carry. They failed to tell me the faucet had a 10 year warranty and would be covered under warranty. After I found this out on my own, the sales woman (Kari) who claims she's worked there for seven years, had no excuse as to why she wouldn't let me know this. Why wouldn't you want to help a customer? It was only a 46 part that needed replacing, but this just goes to show the lack of customer service. So sad that businesses continue to allow their staff to treat customers so poorly.
We're a custom plumbing company and have been using Empire for years for special order items they supply at a competitive price. Recently there was a miss-hap with an order we received with some items that were mixed up. Empire sent a rep the next morning in their personal vehicle to hand deliver the correct items. This level of service is something not scene all the time in our industry. Happy to continue supporting Empire.
