Bill MacFarlane

Paul has an innate capacity to work with his clients throughout the project. He worked very well with Barb and I to develop a conceptual design that ultimately provided the foundation for the completed work. His insight proved to be a good match with both our design expectations and personal taste. With the design set, Paul worked throughout the project in a 'prime contractor' role. In addition to overseeing the work of his trades, he provided much of the general construction services himself. He was very much part of his 'team' of highly qualified trades. In that way he was able to oversee all the work and effectively manage minor schedule and performance issues. Barb and I felt very engaged through out the entire project. Overall, we would summarize Emerald Design Ltd. as experienced, prompt, and courteous with a great attention to detail. We are currently working on a second project and looking forward to our continued association. Good job Paul!
