Due to COVID-19 we couldn't travel to Alberta for our wedding and we therefore had to cancel our elopement wedding. Ella provided us with a 100% refund of all the money we had paid upfront. Not all vendors are being so flexible during these times so we really appreciated this gesture so much. Thanks again Ella!

I've never been able to get good pictures of myself so I was sceptical when my team hired Ella. She made the process easy & comfortable. Ella does not shy away from instructions like how to pose & \look\, which is exactly what I needed for my first professional photo shoot. Photos turned out great!!! Will definitely use her again!!! Ella was our photographer for our engagement and wedding photos. She was a joy to work with and we had so much fun together. She made my husband and I feel comfortable and had a great, chill energy. She was always quick to respond and very professional. Ella came recommended to us and we'd recommend her to anyone. We've definitely recommended her to friends and family and would absolutely hire her again. Ella is also affordable and gave us lots and lots of great photo memories. Can't say enough good things about her!
We've used Ella for family photos on several occasions. With 3 young kids, the thought of a photo shoot brings dread but such a strong desire for a good outcome. Ella is very patient and has a great eye for the right moments to capture. She's also efficient (VERY useful for photos with young kids). She's also been very easy to communicate with re: bookings and suggestions for locations, etc. We've used a number of different photographers in Calgary and for price/value/experience, I would now always use Ella Michel.
