I was looking for a used phone for my daughter. Dr cell had an iPhone 7 for 200. That’s on the higher end for a used 7 but I was willing to pay that because I assumed buying a phone from a phone repair company, they would you know... repair the phone before selling it? So I assumed I would get a phone in good condition. Got the phone home and the battery health was 76%. I was not impressed. Even people on market place let you know if the battery is in bad condition! She can use it for about half an hour before it dies. I wasn’t too worried because they have their 14 day warranty. I contacted them about it. Did not offer anything about a warranty and just offered to replace battery for half price. Then when I did not agree to that they left the conversation and did not even try to honor the warranty. My husband and I went in and had to get loud in order for it to be honored. He replaced the battery and did give us a pair of headphones for free. So just advice for others, they do NOT buy used and fix things and resell. They buy used, leave in as is condition and then resell for a higher price then it’s worth. But do not warn you it’s in “as is” condition. My advice to the owner, give your customers all the info on the product or repair the product and then resell. You know.... because your a phone repair place....you make a lot more money with honest business!
