During the heavy rains this spring long hidden leaks from the poor quality deck build became evident, resulting in water leaking into the walls of our walkout basement, and resulting in notable damage. After meeting with Alberto Russo (AR Reno Experts)(associated with Dougco Renovations), we felt confident Alberto and team could do the job. They took care in dismantling the 36' by 14' deck, taking out the siding, rotted wallboard and one vertical 2x6 stud. After rebuilding our walkout lower wall, a new deck top was installed, complete with picture frame design. All in all the project was done with care, consideration and solid hard work by Al, Bob, Peter, Gord, Mikhail and Jason. Al brings in qualified journeymen for each component of the project as needed. Strengths Al has are effective communication, solid effort, pride in workmanship and he takes the time to explain to the homeowner what he and his team are doing and provides reasons. Al also met his timeline and worked through weekends to ensure the problems were solved and the deck re-installed. Al is down to earth and exemplifies a top quality craftsman.
