We started going to Desi Grill because of Groupon. We loved it! Every dish was fabulous. We've been back many times now, and try different dishes each time. We've never been disappointed. The butter chicken/butter prawns are fabulous. We highly recommend it!

Best Indian food restaurant in Calgary from my point of view. I visited desi grill two times and i receive very good service and delicious food. Staff is very friendly and fast service. The restaurant itself is very good looking from inside. If anyone likes Indian food definitely try in for one time.
Made a reservation for 4:30pm and we were the only people in the restaurant when we got there. Thought this would ensure we would get quick service. It took 30 minutes for our food to arrive and when it did the naan bread was burnt. Apparently they were busy getting the buffet set up. Yes, the food was very good (butter chicken was super good and he tandoori chicken was also good), but the overall experience was a disappointment. Also, when I am at an Indian restaurant I don't expect to be forced to listen to Taylor Swift.
I loved it! Great quality food for a great price and cant wait to try their food truck!
So disappointed!!! I ordered fried rice but it was plain rice mix with vegetable curry not even closed to fried rice , I used to send our guest to them after few complied from our guest i want to try so i walk to the restaurant and it was so bad i will never send any of my guest to them or my self.
Excellent food. Too much Hair in it though. Too bad. Lost my business.
Desi Grill now is offering Dinner Thalis Veggie and Meat Thali......must try
excellent east Indian restaurant in Calgary. Service was great and food was awesome, we ordered butter chicken, kadai chicken and malai kofta and mix raita all these items were very delicious. This is the first time i visit desi grill and i love it how well they manage everything. We arrived around 6 o clock and it was full house. all the table were almost full. very nice looking restaurant. surely a recommended place if sumone like Indian foods in Calgary.... cheers:(((((
