Ordered the tomahawk. Good price when compared to other steakhouses. However, I found the taste quite bland, and it was over-salted. It’s like there was no marinade. Perhaps a classic taste to just let the meat flavour come out, but even the meat lacked flavour. Screamed “basic” - too basic for my liking. Ordered a side of Brussel sprouts - underwhelming and salty! Had one bite and stopped. Disappointed as usually the sides are quite well prepared. I did order the dessert (chocolate volcano thing) which was balanced perfectly —not overly sweet, rich chocolate etc. The service was excellent; attentive, kind, and checked on us often. Overall, I would not be back here for steak, but may consider other menu items.

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants! Food was delicious with a set menu last night for Valentine's. Only thing last night it was a bit chilly inside.

Almost perfect, Briggs has a great team of staff and great atmosphere, the menu and food is incredible, but it’s on the noisy side making it better for large groups than a romantic night out. They will make you a custom menu based on group size and price point. Which is a cool option. I’d recommend trying the Tomahawk steak, easily shared by two or three. The desert menu is small and could use a few more options.

Great food and even better service. Our server went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. Even the hostess came and cleared our plates and asked if we needed anything else. I ordered the Short Rib, which was cooked perfect and the potato pancake underneath was a good accompaniment. Would come back here again!

A really good all round experience. We had a fun and friendly server Georgia. She was prompt but not too in our face. In other words she would show up just when you needed that drink or something, but was not their interrupting conversations trying to push kitchen or bar product. The food was amazing, the kitchen staff were very helpful in helping us wrap some food up for our dog. We would definitely go back and definitely recommend to friends.

Our tomahawk chop was served medium well. We ordered medium rare and emphasized that point when ordering. Informed the server, who did not inform the manager. Called establishment, which took full responsibility for the situation and responded appropriately by addressing the feedback sincerely and professionally. He invited us to return for the opportunity of a much improved experience in the future. Thank you for the hospitality, Brad. Updates January 21, 2019: We returned to Briggs and enjoyed incredibly delicious food all prepared perfectly; our chop was rare to medium rare, as requested. Excellent hospitality, service and attention to detail which made our evening a perfect night out.Thank you so much for everything, Brad. We will be back soon.

Dinner is served Tomahawk Steak style! Nice place to visit. One side is the dining room side and the other the Bar. The bar has a few TVs for viewing Sporting events. The food was good although the portions were small for the given price charged.

Incredible food and service! We ordered the mushroom deviled eggs, which was a wonderful snack. The Caesar salad seemed to be tossed in some shrimp/oyster sauce, which was a unique take on normal salad. The burgers were excellent- well cooked throughout. The dessert was a real gem- we had some kind of French pastry with custard and it was a delicious end to the meal. On the service- My partner and I arrived on Saturday evening around the end of happy hour, and the blonde woman who served us out on the patio (sadly I didn’t catch her name) was super funny, helpful, and attentive. She definitely turned the great food into a great experience. Thanks!! Will be back if I’m ever in Calgary again.
