4 stars ONLY because I'm fussy about 5 stars. Enjoyed a Cold Garden porter here. Me and a girlfriend wanted to share a "pub platter" (just a pile of fried food and some yummy hummus naan) but the bartender acted like we couldn't handle it between the two of us. So we ate the whole platter out of spite. It was delicious. Fries were crisp. Dips were excellent. Plating was cute, for pub food. We were full all day the next day - which was our own doing, but they this pub still gets the credit for the food being tasty. The only downside was that we phoned in a reservation and it clearly wasn't communicated well.

Visited here late noon after being lost for a bit. The hostesses friendly greeting felt like a warm welcome home. She had on proper PPE and was honest about the menu. The weather was nice so took advantage of the option to sit out. There were partitions to facilitate social distancing and a subtle form to leave details for contact tracing. The food was good and washroom looked well managed. my dissatisfaction came after a server went past about 10 other free tables and choose to sit a visiting couple right next to us
LOVED the 2020 Beer Advent Calendar! Appreciated being able to select the styles we prefer -- even received a call from Geoff to discuss details. Enjoyed the mix of local, national and international brews. The packaging was creative and fun, yet easy to recycle. We indulged in four beer advent calendars this year and Bottlescrew Bill's was the best. Hope you'll be offering this Christmas treat for a long time to come!
This place is actually awesome. Rob is fantastic and always makes my friends and I feel at home! Highly recommend this place for a “chill” night out with your friends to grab a few drinks and appetizers. They also have a Beer passport that my friends quite enjoy!
Had been meaning to write a good review of this place for a long time. The drinks are tight and the food is unreal for pub grub. Bailey was our server on our last visit, and she is great as well as the rest of the staff. Will be back. Best wings in town.
Good place, love the on tap craft beers. Had many a meeting there and didnt regret it.
Visited for the first time to Celebrate a successful mid-term exams, the food was exquisitely delicious and happy hour made the experience very budget friendly. Our server was friendly, engaging and didn't leave us waiting. Will be returning... multiple times
As always, great food, great beer selection, and great service. Indispensable part of downtown Calgary where you'll always be made to feel welcome. Highly recommend and happy to have them in our neighborhood.
