The soft serve is so good. Very smooth, creamy and flavourful. Beautiful space beside their sister shop - Yann’s Patisserie. I just got the soft serve and didn’t try one of the gourmet creations, but they looked amazing. The pumpkin pie and pistachio flavours were awesome... it they are seasonal...so go before you miss out! My only critique would be that it’s a little pricey for soft serve...

One of the best chocolates and chocolate desserts I’ve tasted in Calgary. The soft serve options we tried were vanilla, chocolate, raspberry and had good creamy consistency and not too sweet. But I really loved all the toppings the chef recommended. For 10 for all the toppings, it is pricey for soft serve but the toppings made it worthwhile. The staff was so friendly and patient with our questions and really showed passion for what they make here.
We tried the fruity flavours - pineapple mango passion fruit & raspberry cherry. It’s like you’re eating the straight up puree of the fruits yet the soft serve was smooth, not icy at all. The toppings are gourmet like housemade marshmallows and jellies, a rolled cookie with every order.
Awesome place for gourmet cold treats with lots of organic and diet restricted choices (vegan, gf and df). Definitely one of the best places to go in Calgary. Great staff up front, make sure you taste test whatever you get.
Delightful little chocolates that look too good to devour. Each are hand decorated! Gelato style soft serve like rose/Lycee/raspberry, apricot (my fav)& vanilla/chocolate. Icecream Macron sandwiches!
Definitely recommend this sweet/dessert/gelato shop! Staff is super friendly and try to answer all your questions. They make everything look pretty. I do personally find the gelato a bit too sweet. I also do not like the fact that they do not package the macaroons in a box even for orders of 6. ):
Best ICECREAM so smooth with the perfect sweetness. PISTACHIO icecream was amazing but it got discontinued ;( SO SAD!! it was the best pistachio ice cream I’ve ever had !! Hazelnut Chocolate together is amazing too soo yumyyy!!! Thank you for all thechef and the team for this amazing place.
Berlingo is the new sister brand of beloved local French patisserie Yann Haute, and it’s a new place for gourmet soft serve, chocolates, and treats. Featuring everything from cheesecake to ice cream cake, the new sweet spot boasts a colourful front patio with a ton of seating and late night opening hours so you can satisfy your cravings almost all night long. Berlingo is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to midnight. UPDATE: I tried Berlingo for the first time tonight. I think the quality of their ice cream is good but I don't think it beats Village or Made by Marcus. I would probably say it's a tie with Uzu. I really liked the extras they put on the ice cream like the cookie, homemade marshmallow and the raspberry gummy. The seating area out front is a very nice touch. The decor and design could be better and if there is a lineup they certainly need more than one person working.
